Welcome to Kit & Steel. A peer-to-peer marketplace for any and everything second amendment related. I’ve opened this site, free of charge, in response to the many online groups getting shut down or silenced because of whatever reason they may feel.
On this site, you’ll find many opportunities such as offloading un-needed gear, obtaining items at a discount, or the ability to post content as you wish relating to firearms without fear of being banned or silenced.
Let’s go over some rules before you dive into the site and it’s functions.
Buying, Selling, and Trading.
This is a large part of this site. The ability to buy, sell, and trade items that you wouldn’t be able to on other social media platforms. This includes: Gun parts, gun accessories, and guns. Please remember to follow all local, state, and federal laws when conducting such transactions.
Post formats.
When posting on the main feed, please remember to post in a clear and concise manner. For example,
“[WTB] (Want to buy): Glock 19 with Streamlight TLR-1 Holster. $120 budget.”
“[WTS] (Want to sell): Glock 19 with Streamlight TLR-1 Holster. $120 Firm or willing to trade”.
“[WTT] (Want to trade): Tlr-1HL, lightly used, for a Surefire X300u”.
Always remember to include pricing along with TIMESTAMPED pictures if you are posting something for trade or sell. You MUST physically write the date of posting along with your username and include this next to the item posted. Failure to do such will result in the post being deleted.
On this site, we do not broker or administer the transaction between you and the other party. We are only the platform. Therefore, use your head before sending money. It is recommended to ONLY send money in ways that protects you or the other party such as PayPal Goods and Services unless you are familiar with the other party. Kit & Steel is not responsible for losses caused by your negligence or lack of due-diligence.
Post Reporting:
If you see a post or member that doesn’t belong, tag @Admin under their post or user account so I can investigate or message me directly via the message function.
Remember to rate the other party once the transaction is complete!
